CPO Current Needs

CPO needs continued support throughout the year in the following categories.

  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Financial
  • Volunteers
  • Landscaping
  • Printer paper

CPO is in need of food to help meet the needs of the poor in our community.

Listed below are the items which will help to feed one family.

4 - cans of vegetables 

1 - can of Spaghetti O’s

1 - can of fruit            

1 - jar of peanut butter

1 - small bag of rice

1 - box of hamburger/chicken/tuna helper

1 - box of cereal

2 - jars of baby food (stage 1 or 3)

1 - box of spaghetti    

2 - cans of tuna or other meat

1 - can of spaghetti sauce (no glass please)

1 - box of laundry detergent

1 - small bag of dried pinto beans

2 - rolls of bathroom tissue

1 - box of crackers     

1 - personal care item (bar of bath soap,

1 - large bottle/can of fruit juice

       toothpaste, shampoo)

1 – packet of gravy mix

1 – pack of diapers (size 3 to 5)

2 - cans of soup

1 – Infant formula (milk based with lipids)

CPO accepts donations of the following gently used or new items:

  • Children's clothes up to size 6 toddler
  • Maternity clothes
  • Diapers
  • Baby equipment (cribs, strollers, highchairs, etc)

    No used car seats, please.

As a program of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh, which is a 501C3 organization, your donations to CPO are tax deductible.

Checks can be made out to "Catholic Parish Outreach" and mailed to: Catholic Parish Outreach, 2013 North Raleigh Blvd., Raleigh, NC 27604.

CPO can also accept a gift through your VISA or MasterCard.  Credit card donations should be over $20 due to bank fees charged.  Please call Terry Foley (919-873-0245 x230) if you are interested in making a donation using a credit card.

You can volunteer at your convenience at any time. However, we ask you to contact us in advance so that we can coordinate with the lead volunteer on duty that day. Volunteers can donate their time on a one-time bases or on a regular bases and the volunteer day can be based on a week or month schedule.

CPO needs someone to landscape and coordinate the maintenance of the dirt area by the front entrance. Plants suitable for all seasons and requiring no special watering would be best. Please contact Terry Foley if interested.
